FRANSUZ TILIDAN O‘ZBEK (RUS) TILIGA FRAZEOLOGIK BIRLIKLARNI TARJIMA QILISH MASALALARIGA OID MUAMMOLAR
This article explores the main challenges of translating French idiomatic expressions (phraseological units) into Uzbek (or Russian). It highlights the cultural, historical, and semantic nuances of idioms, emphasizing their aesthetic specificity, which makes accurate translation more complex. Various translation strategies – such as literal rendering, functional equivalence, descriptive explanation, and adaptation - are discussed as complementary approaches. The study underscores the importance of linguistic-cultural competence and further research in this area.
