This article analyzes methodological approaches aimed at developing speaking and reading comprehension skills through teaching assignments in Uzbek language lessons. The article presents various techniques and training assignments used to develop students' speaking and reading comprehension skills, as well as practical recommendations used to enhance those skills. In the development of speaking skills, techniques such as dialogue, monologue, and discussion methods are recommended, and in reading and understanding, techniques such as Text Analysis, Q & A, and inference are recommended. It is also emphasized the need to use interactive techniques and technologies to enhance students ' communicative abilities.
