This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the scientific and methodological foundations of adhering to ergonomic principles in conducting demonstration experiments on optics in secondary schools. The study evaluates the compliance of the design of devices such as lenses, prisms, optical benches, spectroscopes, and other instruments used to explain fundamental optical phenomena - refraction, reflection, interference, and diffraction of light - with ergonomic requirements. Within the framework of the ergonomic approach, both theoretical and practical aspects were examined, including the convenient positioning of equipment for students and teachers, viewing angles, color contrast, light intensity, and reflection characteristics. The article also presents methodological recommendations for the effective organization of optical demonstrations, taking ergonomic parameters into account.
