This article analyzes the artistic interpretation of creative personalities in Erkin Azam’s novella The Poet’s Wedding. The work depicts the fate of the artist under a totalitarian regime, exploring the inner torment, moral conflict, and national memory intertwined with creative identity. Through the image of the Fiery-Hearted Poet, the author portrays not only an individual’s tragedy but also the moral drama of a generation. The novella reflects the tension between truth and hypocrisy, conscience and fear. The article highlights the aesthetic value of the work and its philosophical approach to portraying the artist’s role in national spirituality.
