This article examines the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching English to secondary school students. It examines how AI-based technologies, such as chatbots, virtual tutors, adaptive learning systems, and automated assessment tools, can enhance language learning effectiveness and motivation. The study highlights the benefits of personalized learning, instant communication, and interactive practice through AI applications. It also discusses the challenges of teacher training and ethical issues. Overall, the article highlights the role of AI in English language education as an aid to improving students’ communicative competence and academic performance.
