ERKAK VA AYOL NUTQIDA MUOMALA MADANIYATINING IFODALANISHI (FRANSUZ VA O‘ZBEK BADIIY MATNLARI MISOLIDA)
This article analyzes the linguocultural aspects of communicative behavior in male and female speech within French and Uzbek literary texts. The study applies the principles of gender linguistics, linguoculturology, and pragmatics to reveal the socio-psychological and cultural characteristics of male and female language use. Dialogues from Flaubert’s Madame Bovary, Maupassant’s Bel-Ami, and Qodiriy’s Bygone Days are examined through a comparative linguocultural analysis. The findings show that in French literature, female discourse tends to be more emotional and romantic, whereas male discourse is pragmatic and dominant. In Uzbek literature, female speech is characterized by patience, devotion, and gentleness, while male speech reflects determination, responsibility, and social control. The article concludes that male and female discourses in literary works mirror the gender roles of their societies and that contemporary literature increasingly emphasizes communicative equality between genders.
