This article provides a scientific and practical analysis of the problem of developing conflictological competences among university professors in the context of implementing innovations in higher education institutions. The study examines the impact of innovation processes on the educational environment and identifies the causes of conflict situations that arise during digitalization and the introduction of new pedagogical technologies. Contradictions in the relationships between higher education stakeholders, difficulties in psychological adaptation, and varying levels of communicative culture are considered as key factors influencing the effectiveness of innovative development.
