Elections are the peak of political communication, when information flows and influence on public opinion intensify. During campaigns, voters become more vulnerable to media and social-network messaging, which amplifies manipulative techniques. At the same time, lawful campaigning, agenda-setting, and political advertising serve a regulatory role by turning institutional rules of competition into clear signals for voters.
