This article examines fiction as a multifaceted object of socio-philosophical analysis. The author explores it through three key dimensions: aesthetic, ontological, and axiological. Fiction occupies a unique position in the space of human knowledge and is simultaneously both a product of social existence and an instrument for its critical understanding. It combines cognitive, ideological, aesthetic and ethical functions, allowing a person to see himself simultaneously as a product of social circumstances and as a being capable of overcoming them. The key aspect of such analysis is the dialectical unity of reflection and construction of social reality.
