This article covers intellectual, moral, aesthetic, theoretical knowledge, practical and methodological skills for primary school students. The stages of the fairy tale selection process and the pedagogical significance of fairy tale selection based on fairy tale story methods are shown. The proposed methods serve to raise questions in students, encourage them to think, and develop logical thinking
