PRINT MEDIA OF NAVOI REGION AS A HISTORICAL SOURCE DURING THE YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE: THE CASE OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL PROCESSES
This article examines the reflection of socio-economic and cultural processes in the print media of Navoi region during the years
of independence as a historical source using content analysis. Materials from regional newspapers were analyzed. The findings
reveal three stages of media evolution: transformational explanation, institutional stability, and critical activity. The study
demonstrates that regional print media serve as important written historical sources for studying the independence period.
