This article presents a comparative-contrastive analysis of the formation of phraseological units with a color component
representing the sema of human character in German and Uzbek. It examines the linguo-cognitive, linguo-cultural, and linguopragmatic features inherent in the mentalities of both nations. The study draws on phraseological units related to human character
derived from folklore and classical literature, investigating their contextual and linguo-cultural aspects, as well as their role in
enhancing semantic richness, expressive-emotional depth, and stylistic attractiveness within the speech process.
