This article examines the possibilities of balancing the difficulties that arise when processing information from traditional dictionaries using multimedia tools. During the study, based on corpus data, the concept of a multimodal model of homonyms is developed. The results help facilitate, to a certain extent, the process of acquiring homonyms through semantic mapping across multiple languages and the use of visual markers. Furthermore, the study proposes using a learning model based on the integration of audio and visual markers, rather than being limited to text, to reveal the semantic facets of homonymous units
