This article presents a comparative analysis of the paremiological minimum of the German and Uzbek peoples based on the results of a sociological survey. The main objective of the study is to identify the most widely known, frequently used, and actively employed proverbs and sayings in both cultures and to reveal their linguocultural characteristics. A survey was conducted among respondents from different age and social groups to determine their level of familiarity with paremiological units, the frequency of their use, and the specifics of their interpretation. The findings indicate that universal values such as diligence, family relations, honesty, friendship, and life experience occupy a central place in the paremiological minimum of both German and Uzbek cultures.
