This article analyzes the communicative features of pedagogical discourse, focusing on its linguistic, social, psychological, and pragmatic characteristics. It examines the distinctions between discourse and text and conceptualizes pedagogical discourse as a form of institutional communication that regulates teacher–student interaction. The study highlights key communicative strategies within pedagogical discourse and discusses its traditional and non-standard features, as well as its verbal and non-verbal semiotic resources. The findings demonstrate the importance of pedagogical discourse in organizing the educational process, transmitting knowledge, and fostering the personal development of learners.
