This article analyzes the socio-philosophical essence of social entrepreneurship as an institution of civil society and examines its development trends. The study explores the factors influencing the formation of social entrepreneurship, its role within the system of civil society institutions, and its potential for addressing social problems. Particular attention is paid to the relationship between social entrepreneurship, social innovation, civic engagement, and sustainable development. The findings substantiate the priority directions for strengthening social entrepreneurship as a sustainable institution of civil society.
