This article is dedicated to the history of architectural monuments built in Herat, one of the two capital cities of the Timurid state in the XIV-XV centuries. The article focuses on clarifying the influence of scientific and cultural achievements during the period of Amir Temur and the Timurids, recognized as the "second stage of the Eastern renaissance", on Khorasan architecture. In particular, the continuity of historical traditions in the architecture of Khurasan, the innovations observed in the field, the peculiarities of the architectural style and decorative art of this region are studied on the ehample of the famous architectural monuments of Herat
