The article analyzes the impact of gender stereotypes on the modern educational environment, their role in the process of personal development and gender socialization. It also covers the theoretical and practical aspects of ensuring gender equality in the educational system, the impact of gender stereotypes on students' professional choice, self-expression and social activity. Important areas of eliminating gender stereotypes and forming an inclusive educational environment based on modern pedagogical approaches are revealed.
