This article systemically examines the linguistic representation of Mental Spaces theory in Virginia Woolf‘s modernist masterpiece “Mrs. Dalloway “Within the structural framework of Modernist literature, the complex concepts of stream of consciousness, subjective psychological time and inner monologue are meticulously analyzed through the lens of cognitive linguistics and conceptual blending. The study focuses on exploring how sensory triggers and language space – builders function as cognitive mechanisms to reveal subtextual meanings and reconstruct the multilayered inner worlds of the literary characters
