TURKISTONDA HARBIY TARIXIY MEROSNI MUZEYLASHTIRISH JARAYONINING SHAKLLANISHI VA RIVOJLANISH BOSQICHLARI (XIX ASR OXIRI – XX ASR BOSHLARIDA)
In this article, the stages of the formation of the process of museification of military historical heritage in Turkestan of the late XIX - early XX centuries are scientifically analyzed. The military collections of the early museums established in the conditions of the colonial policy of the Russian Empire, their sources of formation, scientific significance and their influence on the development of modern military museology are highlighted. On the basis of documents of the central state archive of the Republic of Uzbekistan, historical sources dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries and modern scientific research, factors of formation of military collections in Turkestan are analyzed. As a result of the study, it is scientifically substantiated that the process of preserving and museumizing military historical heritage is not only a product of colonial policy, but also an important historical stage in the formation of the funds of today's Military Museums.
