EMOTIONAL ALIENATION AS A SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEM IN THE CONTEXT OF INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS IN UZBEK FAMILIES
This article provides a socio-psychological analysis of the formation of emotional alienation within the system of intrafamilial interpersonal relationships, the mechanisms through which it manifests itself, and its individual, dyadic, and family-systemic determinants. Emotional alienation is conceptualized as a multidimensional phenomenon characterized by family members’ insufficient experience of mutual emotional closeness, psychological relatedness, being understood and supported, and secure emotional attachment, despite living together in the same physical space. Based on a secondary comparative psychological analysis, the empirical percentage indicators presented in the study concerning family values, marital attitudes, and general life priorities were reorganized into two profiles: a profile dominated by emotional integration resources and a profile dominated by the risk of emotional alienation
