MAIN CHARACTERISTICS AND PROSPECTIVE DIRECTIONS OF AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT IN UZBEKISTAN
The article describes the improvement of the scientific-methodological basis of the use of land and water resources in the
country's agriculture in accordance with the market economy, the evaluation of the existing practice and the research of the
factors of territorial organization of the agro-economic system, the problems caused by the development of this sector and their
elimination. Inadequate use of land and water resources, innovation, modern techniques and technologies in agricultural
production, these and similar problems are specific territorial characteristics in different regions of our country, the development
of agriculture, its branches and territorial structure, specialization differ from one another on the scale of the republic's regions.
