As a result of the development of science and technology, the demand for new raw materials, such as rare metals and rare earth
elements is growing. In order to create the mineral resource base of rare metals and rare earth elements of the Republic, work is
being carried out in a number of promising areas. One such area is the Tozbulok, which is located in the central part of the
Kuljuktau ridge in the central part of the Kyzylkum. In order to study the geochemical properties of the distribution of rare earth
elements and rare metals in the area, the results of ICP-ms analysis of over ten thousand samples taken on the main grid of
250×50 m at the field stage of geochemical studies were processed and the results of various statistical analyzes were interpreted
geologically. Results of the study show that predominately, the mineralization of rare earth elements is represented by the
Tozbulok alkaline granitoid, the carbonate rocks hosting the intrusive massive, and the mineralization of rare metals such as
niobium and tantalum is related to dikes.
