This study investigates the temperature-induced migration of a nickel exoatom on the surface of a C₇₀ fullerene using molecular dynamics simulations. The results show that increasing temperature promotes the surface mobility of the Ni atom while preserving its interaction with the carbon cage. The migration process is found to be more readily activated in the polar region than in the equatorial region of C₇₀, which can be associated with the anisotropic geometry, different local curvature, and nonequivalent adsorption sites of the fullerene surface. The average nearest Ni–C distance of 2.246 Å indicates a stable Ni–C interaction throughout the simulation
