This article is devoted to the analysis of the impact of global climate change on human health from a medical geographical
perspective. The study covers the main impacts of climate change on public health in three areas. The first is the negative impact
of heat waves on the human body, the second is the changes in the distribution areas, seasonality and intensity of infectious diseases
as a result of changing climatic conditions, and the third is the negative consequences of the number and intensity of natural
disasters (droughts, floods, storms and other extreme events) on public health. The article recognizes the medical geographical
approach as an important scientific basis for a deeper understanding of these problems.
