The article analyzes the objective features of crimes committed with the involvement of artificial intelligence (AI) and substantiates that
AI serves as a highly dangerous intellectual tool of crime. It is proven that civil liability alone is insufficient to address the damage caused
by AI. Furthermore, the paper provides a criminological study of trends such as cyber-theft, deepfake fraud, and the "dropper" syndrome.
As a result, it proposes the introduction of special liability norms into the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan concerning acts
committed using AI, as well as the preparation stage for crimes in the digital environment.
