The article analyzes the evolutionary development of the ideal of upbringing in Jadid pedagogical thought, specifically the expansion of
the concept of an educated and literate individual into a pedagogical ideal of a moral, industrious, strong-willed, active, and nationally and
socially responsible personality. Based on the views of Abdurauf Fitrat, Hamza Hakimzade Niyazi, Mahmudkhoja Behbudiy, Is'hoqkhon
Ibrat, and Abdulla Avloni, the study reveals the interconnections between knowledge and morality, labor and activity, individual self-
perfection, and social responsibility. The transformation of the attitude toward the student in Jadid pedagogical thought is examined,
alongside the expansion of educational influence beyond the school and family into the press, literature, and the social environment. The
integration of the issue of upbringing in Abdulla Avloni's pedagogical heritage with ideas of active engagement, diligence, and public
benefit is evaluated as a prominent manifestation of the evolution of overall Jadid pedagogical thought.
