Kaempferol and induvid flavonoids had an inhibitory effect on lipid peroxidation processes and exhibited unique antioxidant properties. From the results obtained for POL, it can be seen that kaempferol showed the greatest antioxidant activity, whereas the individual showed the least antioxidant activity. When studying the effect of kaempferol and induvid on the mitochondrial megapore, despite the sharp difference in their antioxidant properties, it was found that both flavonoids inhibit the mitochondrial megapore to a certain extent, although induvid had a slightly weaker effect on the mitochondrial megapore than kaempferol. Kaempferol flavonoid has been found to partially affect oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria.
