This article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations of the socio-philosophical study of the phenomenon of physical
culture, tracing its development and changes at different historical stages. The phenomenon of physical culture plays a key role at all
stages of human history. By connecting the research with the historical context, one can better understand the evolution of physical
culture and its significance in different eras, how physical culture transformed and adapted to changes in society. A philosophical
approach to the study of the evolution of physical culture requires a deep analysis of concepts, views, ideas and values that were formed
and changed in different historical eras.
