This article explores the challenges of translating literary studies terminology from Turkish into Uzbek through a philological lens. It examines the historical-etymological origins, semantic scope, and linguocultural features of the terms, offering recommendations for accurate formulation and standardization. Comparative-historical, linguocultural, and semantic-translation methods are employed to ensure an adequate reflection of literary concepts in Uzbek. The conclusion provides suggestions for unifying and standardizing TurkishUzbek literary terminology.
