The paper presents the results of comparative analysis of morphobiological characteristics of the Kushakewitschi’s loach - Iskandaria kuschakewitschi (herzenstein, 1890), distributed in the tributaries of the Oltyariksay and South Fergana Canal, which are small water bodies of the Fergana Valley. Stability of environmental conditions in the two water bodies did not lead to changes in morphobiological indices of fish, only relative differences in total weight of fish and number of pores on the lateral line were found. Analysis of the asymmetry index of the fish showed that the bilateral traits of the fish did not change. This indicates that the fish inhabit a homogeneous environment and are not negatively influenced by environmental factors
