The scientific legacy of Mirzo Ulugbek holds a significant place in Timurid history. As a renowned astronomer, mathematician, and statesman of his era, he transformed Samarkand into a center of scientific learning. His work "Zij-i Jadid-i Kuraganiy" became a landmark achievement in astronomy and made substantial contributions to the development of medieval science. This article analyzes Ulugbek's scientific activities, the work of his observatory, and his contributions to scientific advancement during the Timurid period. The study also examines the influence of Ulugbek's legacy on cultural and scientific progress in the Timurid era using historical-comparative and source analysis methods. Additionally, the article puts forward proposals for preserving and developing Ulugbek's scientific heritage, and discusses its relevance to contemporary research
