PROBLEMS OF ENSURING SEMANTIC COMPATIBILITY IN TRANSLATIONS OF PREPOSITIONAL PHRASES (ON THE EXAMPLE OF ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGES)
This article analyzes the semantic problems that arise in the translation of English prepositional phrases into Uzbek. The fact that prepositional phrases acquire a mobile meaning in many situations, different translations in the context of the document, and the need for a translator-based semantic analysis to ensure adequate translation are discussed. Important examples are provided based on the structural and semantic differences between English and Uzbek.
