DIFFERENCES AND VARIABILITY OF SOME QUANTITATIVE TRAITS IN DIFFERENT VARIETIES OF BREAD WINTER WHEAT
This article analyzed the extent of inter- and intra-varietal variability and differentiation of yield traits such as grain number per spike, grain weight, and TKW in samples of bread wheat varieties. According to the results, significant inter- and intra-varietal variability is higher in the grain number per spike trait than in other traits, and the decrease of grain weight per spike is explained by the sharp warming of the air during the grain filling period.
