Maqolada migratsiya jarayonlarining global ahamiyati, ularning transmilliy xususiyati va diasporalar orqali davlatlarning tashqi siyosatdagi rolini oshirishdagi o‘rni tahlil qilingan. Mehnat muhojirlari orqali ijtimoiy ta’sir va qaytish migratsiyasi kabi murakkab masalalar ko‘rib chiqilgan. Migratsiya jarayonlari davlatlar uchun «yumshoq kuch» siyosatini amalga oshirishda muhim vosita ekani asoslangan. Mazkur jarayonlarning strategik ahamiyati va ularni samarali boshqarish zarurligiga alohida e’tibor qaratilgan.
