NATIONAL CULTURE AND EMOTIONAL LEXIS: A CONCEPTUAL APPROACH
This article analyzes the intrinsic relationship between national culture and emotional lexis from the perspective of conceptual linguistics. It substantiates the idea that the expression of human emotions through language is directly linked to national thinking and cultural traditions. The study explores the semantic scope of emotional lexical units in the Uzbek language, highlighting their metaphorical and associative nature, as well as their role in reflecting the worldview of the people. Furthermore, a comparative analysis with other languages is conducted to identify emotionrelated concepts that are specific to Uzbek culture.
