This article examines the phenomenon of the Uzbek traditional dance “Lazgi” as a practical tool of public diplomacy. It analyzes the historical roots of Lazgi, its recognition by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, and its global stage performances. Special focus is given to the ballet “Lazgi – Dance of Love and Soul” and its international reception. The article also highlights the cultural impact of Lazgi in strengthening intercultural dialogue and its role in promoting Uzbekistan’s image abroad, particularly through engagement with the Uzbek diaspora and American audiences.
