LEXICOGRAPHIC STUDY OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMS IN UZBEK AND ENGLISH
This article is carried out at the intersection of such directions of modern linguistics as network terminology, comparative lexicography and translational semantics, and the structural-semantic features of the terms of the mobile communication field in English and Uzbek languages. Translational adequacy, stylistic level and lexicographic expression models are subjected to systematic analysis. In lexicographic resources (Dictionaries, online platforms, a database of terms), the forms of issuance, methods of translation, the level of semantic equivalence and structural similarities of these terms are studied. As a result of the study, the existing gaps, synonyms, and standardization problems in the expression of English mobile terms in the Uzbek language are identified.
