THEORETICAL BASIS AND PEDAGOGICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF AESTHETIC WORLDVIEW

This article highlights the role and importance of aesthetic education in the educational process. The main goal of aesthetic education is to instill in students the perception of beauty, its appreciation, observation of taste, and the spiritual and moral development of the individual. The aesthetic worldview and creativity are deeply analyzed in the views of Eastern thinkers - Al-Farabi, Al-Biruni, Ibn Sina, and other scholars. In Greek philosophy, Aristotle's idea of the inextricable link between aesthetics and ethical processes and the ideal of kalokagatiya - the unity of beauty and goodness are discussed. The author substantiates the fact that the aesthetic worldview is an integral part of the modern pedagogical process and reveals its methodological basis in educational practice
