Authors

This article analyzes the development of communicative competence among economics students based on national and international experiences. First, the definitions of “communicative” and “competence” are examined through explanatory and philological dictionaries and textbooks. Furthermore, advanced practices in the educational systems of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Germany, Finland, South Korea, Japan, and China are studied, with particular focus on the role of CEFR standards, ESP methodology, CLIL approach, and digital technology–based solutions. The findings suggest that adapting international experiences to the educational context of Uzbekistan plays a crucial role in fostering effective communicative competence for economics students.
