LINGUISTIC AND NON-LINGUISTIC EXPRESSION OF POLITENESS IN INTERNET COMMUNICATION
This article analyzes the linguistic and non-linguistic expressions of politeness in internet communication. Non-linguistic expressions such as emojis and the stylistic use of punctuation marks are examined as tools for conveying social and emotional signals. The article also explores the positive and negative impacts of adhering to or deviating from norms of politeness in online communication on cultural values and interpersonal relationships in society.
