This article analyzes the phenomenon of perceiving the era from philosophical, theoretical, and practical perspectives. It comparatively examines the views of Bergson, James, and M. Heidegger in Western philosophy, and the approaches of Ibn Sina, Farabi, and Confucianism in Eastern thought. The spiritual aspects of understanding the era in Alisher Navoi's works are highlighted. The study integrates traditional and modern approaches to demonstrate the significance of adequately perceiving the era in various professional fields, including pedagogy, science, writing, and management. Furthermore, it highlights the contemporary relevance of perceiving the era within the context of Uzbekistan's independence period and the "New Uzbekistan" strategy.
