AGROBIOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF THE EFFICACY OF SAMRANE AND STARANE HERBICIDES AGAINST BROADLEAF WEEDS IN CEREAL CROPS

This study investigates the effectiveness of the herbicides “Samrani” (0.5 L/ha) and “Starane Ekstrim” (0.5 and 0.6 L/ha) for the management of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds in winter wheat cultivation. Field trials were conducted with evaluations carried out at 15, 30, and 60 days post-application. Among the tested treatments, “Samrani exhibited the highest weed suppression efficiency, achieving a control rate of 92.5%. “Starane Ekstrim” demonstrated 90.4% efficacy at a dose of 0.6 L/ha and 86.0% at 0.5 L/ha. These findings highlight the importance of precise herbicide dosage selection to optimize broadleaf weed control in cereal-based cropping systems.
