This article examines the effect of applied mineral and organic fertilizers as well as organo-mineral composts on the dynamics of nitrate nitrogen (N-NO₃⁻) in soil under repeated tomato cultivation. During the experiments, different combinations of fertilizers were applied, and their impact on soil fertility, nitrogen uptake, and agrobiological factors important for tomato growth was analyzed. The results showed that the combined application of mineral and organic fertilizers ensured more stable retention of nitrate nitrogen in the soil, while organo-mineral composts contributed to its gradual assimilation. The obtained scientific findings are of great importance for improving fertilization systems and maintaining soil fertility in repeated vegetable cropping.
