SCIENTIFIC SIGNIFICANCE OF THE SYNTHESIS OF 1,3,4-THIADIAZOL DERIVATIVES

heterocycles, thiosemicarbazide, propionic acid, 5-substituted-1,3,4-thiadiazoles, 2-amino-5-ethyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole, 2-chloro-N-(5-methyl/ethyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl) acetamide, IR spectroscopy, UV spectroscopy

Authors

The synthesis of 2-amino-5-ethyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole was carried out based on the interaction of propionic acid with thiosemicarbazide in the presence of 92% sulfuric acid. The reaction of 2-amino-5-ethyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole with chloroacetyl chloride was studied. The physicochemical parameters of the starting material and the obtained product, as well as the IR and UV spectra were studied.
