This article analyzes the principles that develop students’ linguopragmatic competence in teaching foreign languages. The importance of principles such as contextuality, the use of authentic materials, analysis of pragmatic errors, speech acts, and cultural awareness in fostering linguopragmatic competence is discussed. These principles help enhance language learners' ability to use language effectively in socio-cultural contexts. The article examines the theoretical and practical foundations of developing linguopragmatic competence and emphasizes the importance of applying these principles in the teaching process. Through research methodology, analysis, and results, effective methods of language teaching are revealed.
