“Digitalization in medicine” is associated with the use of medical technologies, innovations, and digital communication in the delivery of professional healthcare services [1]. For medical students, the introduction of digital health and the integration of digital technologies into educational systems are crucial, as they enable the optimal use of digital communication in their future professional practice. This increases the potential of digital health. The development of technologies in digital healthcare creates new practices and provides opportunities for fundamentally transforming pedagogical methods. Currently, the use of virtual reality (VR) in teaching processes has become convenient, versatile, and practical. This ensures more effective outcomes with VR technologies. For example, VR simulations support students in acquiring advanced skills in surgery and enhancing their knowledge of anatomy. Today, VR technologies are rapidly gaining attention as an effective, engaging, and practical tool for organizing the educational process, which is reflected in the remarkable growth of academic interest in this area (Checa & Bustillo, 2023).
