This study, which aims to identify lexemes expressing clothing and related concepts, identifies the names of clothing and related concepts in “Nahjul-Farodis”, a unique written source of the 14th century. The lexicon related to everyday life is closely related to the history, culture and social life of the people, and through their scientific analysis, it is possible to determine the changes in the vocabulary and meanings of words in the Old Turkic language. In the work “Nahjul-Farodis” by Mahmud ibn Ali, many lexical units related to everyday life, including the names of clothing, are used. These terms are important as important language units reflecting the position, lifestyle and cultural level of people in society. The article provides examples of the use of such words in transcription and analyzes their lexical and semantic properties.
