“LAYLI VA MAJNUN” DOSTONIDAGI TOPONIMLAR
This article analyzes the geographical names found in the text of the epic from a linguistic point of view. The lexical-semantic, stylistic and functional properties of toponyms, their role in the poetic text are considered. The article also studies the historical-etymological roots of geographical names and the process of their transformation into artistic meaning. The results of the research shed light on the peculiarities of Alisher Navoi's language and artistic style and show the linguistic significance of the concept of space in his works. This work serves as the basis for scientific research aimed at a deeper understanding of the linguopoetic properties of the language of classical literature.
