SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF BULLYING IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS
This article provides a scholarly analysis of bullying incidents observed in general secondary schools in Uzbekistan, examining
them as complex social, psychological and culturally conditioned phenomena. The study emphasizes the influence of social
inequality, insufficient levels of communicative culture, family upbringing practices, and the expanding digital environment on the
formation of aggressive behavioral patterns among students. Drawing on empirical research data, the article identifies the socio-
psychological characteristics of students who become targets of bullying, explores the behavioral dynamics of aggressors, and
analyzes the position of bystander classmates who may either reinforce or restrain bullying practices. The findings demonstrate
that bullying should not be viewed merely as an individual act of violence, but rather as a systemic interactional process embedded
in the structure of social roles and power relations within the school environment.
